THE BARBER SHOP

It was morning and the sun had just risen. Today was not a normal morning. I knew something was wrong when I had walked downstairs. My mom was trying to hide something but what?

My mom was just dropping me off at school. I opened the door and said bye. My mom didn't say bye though she said, "You will be getting a haircut after school at the barber shop." My heart stopped beating.

I was proceeding with my normal day but I could not stop thinking about my haircut. Maybe he will give a decent haircut but that never happens. I wondered what the effect of my haircut would be. Probably not a good one.

It was lunch time now and I could not find the strength to eat. I couldn't stand the sight of my ham sandwich.

Last class was over and it was time. The haircut actually only took five minutes. I liked it to be honest but I would never let my mom know that.

The next day I was nervous but when I got to school everyone was complimenting me on how good I looked. It was a great day, maybe I did like my hair.
