30 HOUR FAMINE

This Friday is the 30 hour famine. It should be enjoyable for everyone that goes.

It starts at nine in the morning to like five the next day. I am probably going to stay up until four in the mourning.

Mr. Keown will be it for when we play hide and go seek.

A couple of the men will bring their gaming stations.

We have to sleep in the band room where there are cold hard floors and the girls get to sleep in the Library where there is carpet.

I will probably be playing floor hockey all night. We are going to have a big tournament. I want my team to be the underdog team so we can shock everybody WHEN we win the championship.

The 30 hour famine will be great. Overall it should add up to one great night.

THE BARBER SHOP

It was morning and the sun had just risen. Today was not a normal morning. I knew something was wrong when I had walked downstairs. My mom was trying to hide something but what?

My mom was just dropping me off at school. I opened the door and said bye. My mom didn't say bye though she said, "You will be getting a haircut after school at the barber shop." My heart stopped beating.

I was proceeding with my normal day but I could not stop thinking about my haircut. Maybe he will give a decent haircut but that never happens. I wondered what the effect of my haircut would be. Probably not a good one.

It was lunch time now and I could not find the strength to eat. I couldn't stand the sight of my ham sandwich.

Last class was over and it was time. The haircut actually only took five minutes. I liked it to be honest but I would never let my mom know that.

The next day I was nervous but when I got to school everyone was complimenting me on how good I looked. It was a great day, maybe I did like my hair.

The laughter of One

Number one:
My legs were beginning to cramp as I sat motionless in my hiding place. I tried to slow my breathing, but I could hear my heartbeat drumming in my ears. I wondered if it could be heard in the deafening silence. I felt my calf muscle tighten painfully and as a reaction, I shifted my weight. The sound echoed and it was my fatal mistake…

Mr. Keown yelled, "Found you!" and I was it.

It was the night of the 30 hour famine and we were playing hide and go seek and Mr. Keown had found me. I started counting to fifty and I heard children s laughter. I finished counting and the first place I went was the bathroom. I walked in and there wasn't anybody in sight. I thought that can't be right there is always somebody hiding in the bathroom.

I went to Mr. Wilson's room next and still not a sound or a face in the room.

I went into panic mode. "Could they have left me here all by myself. Could they all be captured by an evil supervillan. Only god could know I guess."

I had been looking for over an hour now and still nobody in sight. Then it happened the laughter of one Derek Cross. The search was on now.

I went into the gym and looked around it was so dark you couldn't see anything and then the lights went on then I got pelted with dodge balls. I got hit from everywhere and then I saw Carter and tagged him on the back. He started to cry because he didn't want to be it so we got him his suther and the game was over.

To be an MC you have to be able to have fun, create excitement, good jokes, good stories, and make it enjoyable for every person participating.

It feels good to be able to take control and run the whole meeting. The poetry was really fun.

The hardest part of my job was making the intro's.

My Mom is Always Wright

My mother once told me, "never eat stuff off the floor."I did anyways. I always did the opposite of what she said. It always brought joy to me when I saw her get mad.

It was an early Saturday morning at the rink and mom gave me some money for a hamburger. I was waiting in line and the person in front of me had dropped their burger. I thought to myself I could buy a burger for five dollars or I could get one for free. So I decided to get one for free. I started to eat it and it tasted like a normal burger so I finished it. The day went on I did stuff as I normally did.

That night something terrible happened. I was lying down playing NHL 11 and I threw up everywhere. My mom kept asking me why I had threw up and I would break in a million years. Then she asked, "Did you eat something off the floor?" Then I knew I was in trouble. I said, "There is nothing wrong with eating food off the floor." then my face went red and she walked out of the room. When she came back she had a wooden spoon and spanked me five times on the rump. I took everything back that I had said.

The Day That Kyle Braybrook Made the cut for the Spelling Bee

It was a cold winter morning when Kyle Braybrook showed up to school and he thought it was going to be a normal day. He said, "Gewillikers it is cold outside." He sat on the normal bench he sat on every morning with his friend.

They all said,"Hey Kyle."

He said "Hey everybody."

It wasn't until the bell rang that morning when Mr. Peel said, "Hey Kyle are you ready for that big spelling test this morning?"

Kyle went into panic mode.

It was five minutes till the spelling bee and Mr. Keown said, "Get out a piece of paper Braybrook." So he did.

The first word came and it was tricky. The word was slogan. Mr. O said it a couple times and used it in a sentence. A couple more words came then he came to the hardest of them all heartthrob with two t's who knew. It was the end of the spelling bee and people were anxious to get their tests back. Kacee was sure she got it all wright.

We were doing math when Mr. Wilson said, "Finished." Then showed everybody their mark and Kyle got 13 out 15 and was wondering what the cut was...

This Christmas Break

This Christmas break was full of fun, I did so much stuff with my family and friends.

every morning there was shinny from 11 till 3 so I hardly missed a day and I would tell my friends to meet me at the rink.

Christmas day was great I got lots of presents. I got hockey equipment new clothes new movies and a ton of other stuff.

At the end of Christmas break Derek got home from Mexico and he stayed at my place for two nights and we watched the World Juniors game and it was awesome.

Last night the finals to the World Juniors were on and Canada lost what a crappy way to end off the break.
